Subscription objection answers

Is my RSS feed private, or can anyone find it?

Yes — every subscriber gets a unique feed URL keyed to a long random token that only you receive. The URL is never indexed, never published, and not discoverable through the public web. The same token is what your podcast app uses to authenticate, so anyone who somehow guessed it could still listen — treat it like a password and do not paste it publicly.

When your subscription is cancelled, the feed deactivates. Past tokens stop serving audio, so a stale URL from a previous cycle will not continue to work. Each new active subscription generates a fresh token pair.

Why does it cost $0.83/day?

The subscription is $24.95/month, billed by Stripe. The per-day framing is a convenience — roughly the cost of one short coffee for content produced by a single human editor, not by an ad-tech stack.

There is no host network, no sponsor reads, no algorithm surface to fund. You are paying for the work itself — the recording, the editing, and the publishing pipeline that lands each track in your private feed.

Will it work in Apple Podcasts and Overcast?

Yes. Both Apple Podcasts and Overcast accept externally-added private RSS feeds via “Add Show by URL”. Pocket Casts and Castbox work the same way. Each app has its own import path; the step-by-step walk-throughs live on the listen guide.

YouTube Music does not accept externally-added private RSS feeds. If YouTube Music is the only app you want to use, this subscription will not work for you — pick one of the four supported apps above instead.

What happens when I cancel — what is my access after billing ends?

Access stays active until the end of the current paid period, so a cancellation made mid-cycle still gives you the rest of that cycle. After the period closes, the feed token stops serving audio — the private URL in your podcast app will go silent and eventually show as unavailable.

Resubscribing reactivates the same email and restores the feed. You do not lose your subscription history and you do not need to re-import the URL — sign back up at the pricing block and the next valid period picks up where it left off.

Refunds? What if my monthly renewal fails?

No refunds. Digital audio content is delivered continuously for the period paid, and the feed can be replayed at any point during that period, so a chargeback-after-listen policy is the only fair rule for everyone. See the terms for the full billing language.

If your monthly renewal fails — expired card, bank decline, fraud-block, anything beyond our control — Stripe automatically retries over a 3-day grace window. During those three days the feed stays live and you get a chance to update your payment method. On day four, if the charge still has not cleared, the feed deactivates. For help updating your card mid-cycle, follow the import / billing help page.

The Fine Print

What the subscription actually is

Private by design

A token-keyed feed URL that only your podcast app authenticates against. Not indexed, not shared.
